On Imbolc, Burnout, Depression & Never Feeling Good Enough

In the tumultuous wake of the pandemic years, many of us have found ourselves grappling with unforeseen challenges. We navigate through uncharted waters where the tides of uncertainty and exhaustion seem to pull us deeper into the abyss. Among the myriad struggles that have surfaced, burnout, depression, and the persistent feeling of inadequacy have emerged as formidable adversaries, gnawing at the very core of our being with relentless persistence.

For me, the journey through this time has been nothing short of harrowing, marked by huge personal upheavals, trying to regain some sense of my bearings in a world that has been rocked off its axis, and trying for the first time to plant and nurture the seeds of entrepreneurial endeavors amidst the backdrop of a world in total chaos.

In the dark soil of isolation, I dared to plant the seeds of a handful of small business ideas. Yet, as the seasons changed and time marched on, the fruits of my labor seemed futile: obscured by the shadows of doubt, the limitations of being only one person with limited budget and inability to hire any staff for the forseeable future…
